The brand offers a wide range of products, from garden and agriculture supplies to work attire and household items. To stay competitive in the modern digital landscape, the company was looking to leverage data and artificial intelligence. Specifically, LANDI Switzerland wanted to create a vision for using AI that aligned with its core values of price leadership, quality, and high service standards.This vision needed to articulate the role of AI in supporting these values, specifically in customer-facing business processes. It would also define why AI is important, where it should be applied, and how it could enhance these key areas. Thanks to our extensive expertise in data and AI and a history of being a trusted digital transformation partner, LANDI Switzerland turned to us for support. Identifying impactful use cases and crafting a transformation roadmap To help LANDI Switzerland develop a comprehensive AI strategy, we first worked on defining the organisation’s AI vision based on a maturity and competition analysis.Our assessment revealed that LANDI had a strong data foundation. So, we worked together on identifying additional opportunities to further enhance its data-driven approach. Next, we established the priority focus areas and use cases across the entire business—including logistics, customer service, and procurement—through workshops with company representatives. Finally, we outlined a Target Operating Model, including a roadmap, for developing the required skills to enable the seamless implementation of the AI vision. From strategy to impactful results Our team identified and prioritised eleven key business areas for AI use at LANDI Switzerland. Within those business areas, we generated more than 50 ideas and created eight detailed use cases.Additionally, we raised awareness about the potential of AI and educated LANDI Switzerland’s employees on the use and approach to AI projects.Lastly, by creating a Target Operating Model and a roadmap, we outlined the pathway for the sustainable integration of AI into future services and products.
