Java Fullstack Engineer

How you will spend your time

• As part of a team, you will design & implement versatile customer projects in the web and enterprise environment that are tailored to customer needs using modern, agile project methods.

• Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business and translate requirements into high quality software.

• Engage with developers on your team to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code leveraging methodologies such as pair- and mob-programming.

• Coach & support team members to fully unlock their potential and grow as a team.

• Support the entire software lifecycle with your Dev-Ops mentality from ideation to production.

• Automate quality checks right from the start using techniques such as test-driven development and specification by example. 

• Continuously keep up to date with the latest technologies & trends and share your knowledge.

• You have a Bachelor’s degree (FH, Uni, ETH or similar) in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• You have more than two years proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and best practices.

• You put the customer first and support the project’s success as a full-stack engineer using the Java ecosystem and modern java script frameworks as building tools.

• You have experience with many different technologies, such as Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, databases, RESTful APIs, messaging, container orchestration, microservices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)

• You confidently consult our customers on the selection of architecture and design, frameworks and (DevOps) tools.

• You are interested in making your contribution to customer success as a Java Fullstack Engineer with the latest JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, React or similar frameworks in the frontend.
  

• You have experience with agile methodologies and working in agile development teams.

• You are passionate about learning new technologies, improving your skills and sharing your knowledge with others.

• You are an excellent communicator, team player and excel at problem solving.

• You speak German and English fluently (at least on C1 level)

• Ideally you are available to start in August or September 2024
