In this role, you will be analyzing and designing integration across platforms, ensuring compliance with the integration architecture and security standards. Additionally, you'll shape the IT infrastructure with best practices while operating within agile project teams, and design and implement tests. Troubleshooting and fixing issues, you will leverage your expertise in various programming languages and integration technologies.

DevOps Consultant

You will be guiding customers through the entire journey from initial idea to tangible business value, ensuring their development process is optimized for quick and reliable delivery. Leveraging your troubleshooting skills, you will analyze and resolve stability issues in complex distributed systems, providing actionable solutions. Taking on a leadership role, you will advance our DevOps practices within Zühlke and contribute to our presales and sales efforts.

Platform Engineer

As a Platform Engineer, you'll develop and operate our Platform Plane, customizing and integrating tools for a seamless user experience. Collaborating with the team, you'll address client needs, manage service operations, and ensure security and compliance. Your expertise in Azure, Kubernetes, and Go will be crucial as you drive continual improvements. Maintaining a customer-focused mindset, you'll help optimize our platforms and processes.

How do we keep up with DevOps trends at Zühlke?

The principles, technologies and disciplines of DevOps moves fast. Cloud-native technologies (like kubernetes, docker and serverless computing) are particularly popular DevOps trends at the moment, and we support our DevOps engineers to experiment with emerging and maturing DevOps trends to ensure we’re always providing the best recommendations to customers.

Another important trend is the principle of observability. DevOps is about the visualisation – of a value stream, pipeline, KPIs, bottlenecks – it’s impossible to optimize the wider value stream if you can’t see what’s going on (or where you should focus).
